The Reefer Garden is not only a reef store. We also keep freshwater fish and live aquatic plants for community tanks and planted aquariums. Bettas, guppies, and tetras are regular parts of that side of the shop, along with other community fish when the shipment has them. Live plants are here for people who want a planted tank, not just a plastic ornament in the corner. Tell us the tank size and whether it is a first aquarium or one you have kept for years.
Freshwater stock moves. A betta or a school of tetras that is here on Wednesday may be gone by the weekend, and the next shipment may look different. Call (870) 761-8884 before you drive from Jonesboro if you need a specific fish. We would rather tell you it is not on the shelf than have you make the trip for nothing. Plants are held with the rest of the freshwater livestock until you can pick them up.
The store is in Brookland, about ten minutes from Jonesboro, at 11131 Highway 49 N, Brookland, AR 72417 inside Emerald's Triangle. Walk the freshwater tanks, ask which fish can live together, and take the plants home the same day. We do not ship fish or plants.
Also see saltwater fish, live corals, freshwater fish and plants, aquarium supplies, bird, reptile, and small-animal preorders, and our store near Jonesboro.
