The Reefer Garden is the aquarium and fish store just north of Jonesboro, in Brookland. The drive is about ten minutes up Highway 49. The shop sits inside Emerald's Triangle at 11131 Highway 49 N, Brookland, AR 72417. People come from Jonesboro for reef fish, live corals, freshwater fish, live plants, and the supplies that go with those tanks.
This is a local store, not a warehouse that ships livestock. You can walk the tanks, ask whether a fish will get along with what you already keep, and take it home the same day. Saltwater fish, corals, bettas, guppies, tetras, and aquatic plants are part of the regular shop. Birds, reptiles, and small animals are preorder only, and those animals have to be picked up the day they arrive. We cannot keep them overnight.
Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are closed Monday and Tuesday. Call (870) 761-8884 before you leave Jonesboro if you are looking for something specific.
